I just went to Starbucks on the Princeton campus.
It was so peaceful and safe feeling. Made me want to go back to school.
Listened to an 18 year old girl speak emphatically about what she will and will not put up with from a potential suitor, after her years of experience with men and their f-ed up ideas about dating.
Sat by myself and ate an amazingly soft butter cookie with M&Ms and chocolate chips.
A whole one.
Not good at all, especially since I'm already freaking out about tasting my way through India and Italy. There is a high potential for the expansion of more than just my mind.
And then it hit me that I will not be back in LA until Christmas.
!!!
That is CRAZY.
For weeks I talked about my two month tour.
Driving 10,000 miles in 4 weeks followed by 2 weeks in India and 2 weeks in Italy.
And now the reality is sinking in.
We are midway through the US portion of this journey and LA already feels like a distant memory. I've been gone for 2.5 weeks. How will I feel after 2 months?!?
Here's a link to the India portion, if you're interested: TERRA IN INDIA

Will someone make Christmas cookies with me when I return from Italy???
I made the loveliest cookies last year:
And they tasted great, too.
:)
Speaking of tasting great, I sense some action over in the kitchen area of this hotel lobby....
Smells like soup.
I watched something beyond amazing last night, courtesy of my new friend Liam.
We both agreed that if you have no emotional reaction to this performance, then you probably do not have a soul.
Sorry to inform you.
It's just a fact.
And on that note.....
I just erased a big paragraph about current issues in my life.
Because those words belong in a journal and not in a public blog.
You are spared, at least this time.
More movement in the kitchen area...someone just put a bunch of baked potatoes into one of those metal buffet serving tray things. And brought out a metal rolling cart with a Budweiser tap sticking out the top of it. Looks like the fun is about to begin.
Too much fun for me.
Got to head out to my show at The College of New Jersey.
